So Nice To See You 2/6/2021

It was great to get together and catch up after the holidays and to toast Hilarie's retirement--Woo Hoo! We even talked about the book selection, The Searcher, by Tanya French.

It was a pleasant read containing choice little plot nuggets that kept one coming back for more. The characters, set in a quaint community of working people and farmers, were interesting people whose true nature was not always immediately apparent. We really liked The Searcher and rated it 4 stars. Our next reads are: Beekeeper of Alepo by Christi Lefteri and Uncommon Type: Some Stories by Tom Hanks. We will meet again (or touch base on progress) on Saturday March 6.
