October 24, 2015 Meeting

a quick recap of tonight's meeting...first, thanks to lu & lymon for hosting us and providing the yummy roast beef. in fact all our "british" entrees were pretty darn good. five stars on that front.

as for books, lu picked two winners, with both children's act and sixth extinction garnering four starts. great writing by both authors, with a few nitpicks about abrupt ending (children's act) and bordering on too scholarly (sixth extinction). but both provided great fodder for conversation.
